New Delhi: Even after Salman Khan left no stone unturned to reach his social satire flick to each and every home, Jai Ho made just Rs. 17.55 cr on the opening day not even surpassing actor's own opening day records.
Ek Tha Tiger holds highest opening day record for Salman Khan's flicks with Rs 32.93 cr in India.
Jai Ho, which released with a maximum number of above 5000 screens in India, didn't have a flying start as was expected considering Salman was back after one year.
“JaiHo Fri Rs 17.55 cr nett. India biz only,” tweets trade analyst Taran Adarsh. However, he is confident that the weekend will be profitable for the flick.
