Dhanbad, Aug 2: A Class 7 student, aged 12, threatened a class 1 girl student with a scissor and a knife, and raped her inside the school bathroom in Wasseypur  on Wednesday, Anoop T. Mathew, SP, Dhanbad said.

Irate parents barged into the missionary school and tried to gherao the school principal, said Father Victor, the school manager.

When the girl entered the classroom drenched in blood, her teacher tried to ignore her pleas. The victim later went home and informed her parents.

Police have registered a case both against the Class 7 student and the school manager.
