Her mother has alleged that a boy from her neighborhood had trapped her daughter in a love affair. She suspects that the boy had invited the victim to his place and murdered after raping her.
The death of the 17-year old minor became a mystery after her mother claimed rape and murder and had her body exhumed from her grave for investigation.
The family of the victim had reported that their daughter died after falling from the terrace.
Not wanting to face society or police, the family buried their daughter and performed her last rites without informing anyone. But later, the victim's mother took a stand after she was convinced of the fact that her daughter's death was not natural.
The mother has accused the boy of calling her daughter to his house and then raping her. Moreover, she also suspects that there were more than one man present in the house when her daughter was murdered.
So far, two persons have been arrested. The victim's body has been exhumed from the grave for medical tests.
The killers are still at large. The post-mortem reports are awaited.
