New Delhi: Honour killings have been hitting the headlines quite often and killing in order to save the "honor" of the clan  is the new sought after ways khap panchayats undertake to have a stronghold over a particular community.




There has been a spate of honour killings in Haryana . The low literacy rate in the area has been blamed quite often.

But this gruesome case took place in the financial capital of India - Mumbai -  where literacy is not an issue. The suburbs of Mumbai were shaken in the year 2006 when the case surfaced.
