She managed to escape the dense forests on Assam-Nagaland border where she was abandoned by the kidnapper and reached a house located in the tea garden where people helped her informing the police.
Her struggle for survival lasted for 14 long hours.
While sharing her nightmarish experience, Gunjan said, when the kidnapper tried abducting a small girl in the school van, Gunjan offered to be kidnapped instead of the girl.
