New Delhi, Dec 17: Liquor baron Vijay Mallya, most famous for his flamboyance, is admired by his friends and business leaders for living life-king size. His unique style of doing things in the most opulent way shows his extra-ordinary way of life.

Vijay Mallya, the CEO of United Breweries – the company that owns the Kingfisher brand – is well known as one of the most stylish CEOs in Asia, leading his brand from the front.

Be it posing with bikini clad calendar models, attending events in the company of Bollywood celebrities, associations with the rich, trendy and the luxurious, or relaxing on his private yacht, this man knows really well how to enjoy life. Strikingly, his penchant for partying fits with his company's slogan, "The King of the Good Times."

Vijay Mallya's varied hobbies and charismatic personality makes him prime fodder for the glossy magazines as well as the business pages. He is the owner of IPL cricket team, the Royal Challengers Bangalore, breeds race horses, has a stake in a Formula 1 racing team, Force India, and owns two football teams. He also enjoys spending time on yachts.

Vijay Mallya, a diehard party guy, has enormous passion and energy that also reflects in the properties he owns. Mallya owns 26 properties all over the world, including in Scotland, Monaco, New York, Napa Valley, South Africa, Goa, Mumbai, Bangalore, and New Delhi.

Often referred to as India's Richard Branson, he is responsible to change the image of his “Kingfisher” beer brand from a commodity to a lifestyle brand. The Kingfisher brand commands around 29 per cent share of the beer market in India and is sold in over 52 countries. His principal, United Breweries is the second largest spirits group in the world and has an evaluation of $ 12 billion.

Kingfisher Towers

Kingfisher Towers-Residences at UB City, the new home of Vijay Mallya, as well as other billionaires is under way and will be completed in the next three years. The tower, located in the heart of Bangalore city, has around 82 apartments split in three blocks, of which only 72 are for sale. Of the saleable units, 30 are Mallya's and the rest are with Prestige. The rest of the 10 unsold units are to be split among members of Mallya's family.

The apartments begin only from the 5th floor, and the rate increases for the top floors. The first four floors, along with two floors in the basement, have been reserved for car parking. While each resident would be getting around 3- 5 car parks, Mallya will get parking area that can accommodate around 100 cars. Besides there will also be area where Mallya can showcase his collection of vintage cars.

On 33rd and 34th floors, there is Mallya's penthouse, which will be supported by the three blocks 32 storeys high. The penthouse, would boast a wine cellar, an indoor heated pool, an outdoor infinity pool, a gym, a salon and a spa, to name a few. The roof of the penthouse will have a helipad.

The mansion is located on Johannesburg's luxurious Nettleton Road, which is one of South Africa's most expensive streets. The property has sweeping views of Clifton beach. It is a super-luxury house that has a sauna, walk-in safe, gym, and garage space for four cars and has hosted movie stars, singers and royalty. As per reports, Prince Carl Philip of Sweden stayed there during the 2010 FIFA World Cup, hosting lavish parties on its patio, which flanks a 25m-long infinity pool. "The main bedroom on the top level has an amazing penthouse feel," said Stefan Antoni, the designer of the mansion.

The liquor baron owns residential units in Trump Towers in New York City, overlooking San Francisco Bay. The penthouse is on one of sought after streets and on one of the most expensive tower in New York. The house is in the 37-story residential tower, on Third Avenue between 61st and 62nd Streets.

Vijay Mallya's Goan villa was recently in news as lenders to debt-ridden Kingfisher Airlines had hinted at selling the carrier's two properties in Mumbai and Goa worth Rs 120 crore. It is located in Candolium beach in Goa, and leads into the Arabian Sea. Mallya spends quality time at his palatial Kingfisher Villa whenever he's not attending Parliament. The villa houses three grand sized bedrooms and a huge living room. The living room features complete Home Theatre system and has handmade Teak Wood furniture. The house reflects Goan style and gives a great holiday experience.

Vijay Mallya also runs the Kunigal Stud Farm, which is believed to be one of the oldest stud farms in the region (over 200 years old). It is located in the district of Tumkur in the southern state of Karnataka. It is said that in the stud farm, Tipu Sultan used to breed horses for his cavalry. The Kunigal Stud Farm bred horses always remain in the highlight in the races held at different places in the country. His own bred have swept many classics in South India, including the Bangalore Derby with Fantabulous King and the Mysore Derby with Full Speed. The farm is divided into 25 paddocks of different sizes. Training facilities for horses including a riding school is also available in the farm.
